Offsite Programming in Practice: Innovative Ideas for Library Reach

Monday, June 8 @ 2pm EST | Zoom – Registration Required | CEUs will be given

Offsite programming can connect you with community members who may never visit your building — but where do you start, and how do you handle the unexpected? The NCLA PR/Programming Committee invites you to a webinar exploring offsite programming: the successes and the challenges.

Join Krystal Messer (Los Angeles Public Library) who will discuss "Expedition LA" a city-wide program designed to increase access and knowledge of green spaces & outdoor recreation in Los Angeles;  Emily Murphy (Ann Arbor Public Library) who will discuss the annual AADL "Summer Game" which has attracted more than 17,000 people to the Library's programming; and Alexandra Blau (Long Beach Public Library) who will share Long Beach Library's offsite beach programming, Vinyl Collectors Club, and collaborations with local businesses. Discover:

·  The ideas behind their innovative programs

·  How they planned and executed their off-site events

·  Honest reflections on what worked and what didn't

·  Practical takeaways or creative inspiration for your own Library
