While general standards of customer service apply no matter what your title is, there are certain distinct considerations that come into play depending on your role in the library ecosystem. This workshop, geared towards library "support staff" (clerks, facilities, aides, and other non-librarians) will explore why customer expectations appear to have changed over time, how to navigate stressful situations, and will consider the balance between hospitality and working within the bounds of your title.
