The Day The Music Died (Click Title to Register)

We've seen the news stories. We've heard all about how the music CD is a dying media, going the way of the VHS. But is this true, especially for public libraries? What does circulation look like for these music discs at public libraries in Nassau and Suffolk? What is the viability of physical music CDs at libraries?

We will delve into these topics and more regarding music CDs and vinyl records at the library in a discussion with the head of Media Services at Port Washington Public Library, Jonathan Guildroy. A general discussion with attendees will follow this chat with Mr. Guildroy.

CEU credits will be received by your participation.
