Mental health has become a growing concern in our society since the Covid-19 pandemic.  But even before then, people have sought out ways to combat any negative emotions they may face.  Graphic novelists and comic creators have used their medium to open a discussion on mental health awareness by expressing themselves through art and storytelling.

Join the Pop Culture Committee and learn how graphic novlists dive into their craft and express their emotions with discussions from graphic novelists and comic creators Matt Tarpley (Cat's Cafe), Jason Katzenstein (Everything is an Emergency: an OCD Story in Words and Pictures), and Laura Lee Gulledge (The Dark Matter of Mona Starr).
